PostHeaderIcon Lilah wants to go to the Pancake store?

I asked Lilah what she would like for lunch. She said she would like pancakes. Trying to get her to pick something else I told her that we didn’t have any pancakes. To which she replied, “We can go to the pancake store, get pancakes then come back home”. Well to her the “pancake store” is the Denny’s restaurant that we have breakfast at sometimes.

PostHeaderIcon Another freebie template!

Today was a day of yuck outside, so it was a good day to scrap some pictures of a fun day this past winter. They are supposed to appear side by side, but I have yet to figure out how to do that, so use your imagination LOL!

The beautiful kit is by Michelle Coleman, called Frosted. And the word art is by Bethany, from Elegant Word Art. I made it from a template that I created. I was playing around with some drop shadows and paper curls and this is what I came up with:

I hope you like it, you can download it here and here!

Happy scrapping!

Edited: thank you for telling me that the link to template 3 was broken!!! It should be fixed now, sorry for any confusion!

PostHeaderIcon My First Template!

I’ve been bitten by this digital scrapbooking bug. Now instead of surfing my message boards or Facebook all morning, I download free digital scrapbook kits and post to the Scrap Orchard forums! I decided to make a scrapbook of my daughter’s first year, so in order to make it look consistent throughout, I made my very first template! Here is what I made with it so far…

Here is my template if you are interested, my very first freebie!

You can download it here

Leave me a message if you like it, I’d love to see anyone’s layouts!

PostHeaderIcon Ahh, the pool….

We have had such a busy schedule lately that Stephen and I hardly ever see each other. One of us is always either working and/or in school. So we were excited yesterday afternoon that he could join the kids and me at the local YMCA pool for a swim. We finally had some nice family time, the kids had a blast and I loved seeing my husband for a change!

Later that night, when Stephen was giving Lilah her goodnight hug and kiss, he said to her, “Mmmmm, you smell like pool-water!”

Lilah replied, in a horrified voice, “No I don’t Daddy, I don’t smell like POO-water!”
