Boo boo fixer
Casey is a very busy rough and tumble little boy. He likes his boo-boos kissed though, like any good mama’s boy should
Yesterday he was in his high chair messing around instead of eating dinner and when he bent around over the side, he got his arm stuck between the chair and the tray. I reached over to pull his arm out and said something cross like, “well you shouldn’t have been messing around!”. So, knowing that he would get no sympathy from me, he whined for a moment, then lifted up his arm, and planted a big sweet “KISS” right on the owwie spot of his arm! Good thing he can kiss his own boo-boos now, he’s so darn busy that he gets a LOT of them these days!
A fun filled weekend
I have been working so much overtime that it was really nice to have a weekend off to spend together as a family. On Saturday we hit the pumpkin patch and then went to the local mall bookstore for a Halloween story time and some ice cream. A couple hilights:

On Sunday we went out for breakfast and then hung out at home. Lilah got to paint (her FAVORITE thing right now) while Casey napped, and then we all carved pumpkins in the afternoon. Or rather Stephen and I carved pumpkins while the kids got covered in “pumpkin brains”. But the effort was worth it, behold the super cool pumpkins:

Can you guess what the pumpkin on the right is? How fitting for our household!
BFFs
I had to use the other quickpage from Lliella Designs newest release for some adorable pictures of Lilah and her BFF:

I don’t normally like to scrap with quickpages, but I just adore these designs, I had to use them!
Summer nostalgia
Lliella Designs released two new kits today that I adore. I have only purchased a couple of kits and her designs are among them. I had to use this quickpage freebie from her blog for these pictures from this summer:

I just love that Lilah has totally taken aim at both of the boys heads in those pictures! Yeah girl, lay the smack down!
PJ & B
M: “What do you want for breakfast Lilah?”
L: “Peanut jelly and butter, mama.”
M: “Peanut butter and jelly?”
L: “Yes, peanut jelly and butter, mama.”
And while we were preparing breakfast together, Lilah covered her mouth and let out what I thought was a sneeze.
M: “Bless you.”
L: “NO, that my mouth!”
M: “Oh, you didn’t sneeze?”
L: “No, silly mama, that my mouth!”
So I guess it was a cough instead. But hey, she covered her mouth without being told!
Nature Lesson
We had beautiful weather this weekend and I had the picture taking itch, so off to the park we went. Here is my page from tonight’s scrapping:

And a few cutie-patooties from the picture taking itch:

Casey taking in the wonder of nature.

Aren’t they the cutest things you’ve ever seen?

Yay! We got the remote to work and everyone looking at the camera!!!
