Hello digiland, long time no blog. I would like to blog more, it just doesn’t seem to fit into my routine, I think I will have to make it fit or it will never happen!

Hello gang. I’ve been a baaaaaad blogger. I returned to work last Friday and its been a bit hectic, but all in all its gone very smoothly. Q is a very good baby and is behaving excellently for daddy while I’m gone.

I have something new out this week, a couple of design tools.

Design Tools: Trimming Action

This Photoshop action will help you trim the file sizes of your designs with the click of a button! Removing the empty space around your design elements will greatly reduce your file sizes which allows you to package your kits in less download folders and save time! This action removes all empty space around your flattened PNG image and leaves a 1 pixel border surrounding it to avoid any clipping of your item. This action has been tested in PSE, PS CS2, 3 and 4.

Design Tools: Saving Action

This Photoshop action will resize your images to 600×600 pixels and make them sharp and web-ready. Whether you are uploading kit previews or your own personal layouts, this action will save you time by automatically resizing to the standard size and then sharpening your image to make it pop online! This action has been tested in PSE, PS CS2, 3 and 4.

Yep, I’m back. I came out of “retirement”. I didn’t last long did I???? I guess I should have realized that it was my difficult pregnancy squashing my love for designing and just “hung in there”! But that’s ok, I am retiring most of my old products anyways…. and I am going to be putting a few different things in my store from now on, starting with this week!

My first new products are actually both tools for designers. First, “Design Tools: Smoothing Action” is a Photoshop action that eliminates those pesky jagged edges with the simple click of a button!

Hey everyone,  I’ve been a bit of a blog-wanker haven’t I? Sorry about that. My little man has been keeping me quite busy.
